Lena has been writing since she was able to hold a pen. She hails from New York and is the mother of a 22-year-old college student; her greatest accomplishment to date. Most if not all of her writing is inspired by the strong bond and loving relationship she has with her daughter.
Lena received her Bachelor in Science in the fields of Marketing and Management. After her long haul within the corporate world, Lena decided to turn her hobby for writing to a career. “My friends and family kept telling me I was wasting my talent and that I was going to miss my calling.” As fate would have it writing was her purpose in life.
This multi-talented writer has many projects in development. She has completed a pilot for the upcoming drama, Nicci’s Place, and she has written several movie scripts as well. To date she has written a comedy titled, Changed Man, and she completed her novel, Camouflage, an epic true story about her life in the Army’s basic training in the 1986.
Lena comes from a very close-knit family and is the daughter of parents that have been married for over 40 years. At the age of 42, Lena has seen a lot of life, both good and not so good. She was divorced after ten years, suffered the loss of a mate after a fatal shooting, which sent her into shock that lasted for several months and then the loss of several family members she had to watch die first hand. Still, she eloquently and bravely writes about her relationships and life in her new blog Talk Life. Here you will find everything from dating online to her experiences with death.
